This condensed episode features the launch of Space Shuttle Columbia in November of 1981. This episode was taped at Cape Canaveral using the "latest" Toshiba 2-piece VHS recorder. The STS-2 Mission was noted as it was the 1st time the Remote Arm was used. You'll also note that the main fuel tank is painted white. It was later left unpainted and saved 600 pounds in weight. Jim Enix is a guest and shows his professional JVC 3-tube camera with Sony 3/4" video recorder. The launch is seen close-up as I used a 500mm lens on the camera. Air Date: January 11, 1982
